Saturday March 26th – Captain’s v Vice Captain’s Challenge

  • Captain’s Putt out & Drive in
  • Guess where the Captain and Lady Captain’s drive will finish up the  1st hole

 Saturday 14th & Sunday 15th May – Captains' Day

  • Four Ball Yellow Ball competition
  • Best two scores to count

 Thursday June 16th - Captains' Charity Day

  • 18 Holes Four Ball AM AM Format
  • Presentation Dinner and Charity Auction
  • Hole Sponsors, team prizes etc. required
  • Entry forms / details available from office

Saturday July 9th - Captains' Summer Evening Event

  • Join your Captains and Vice Captains in what promises to be a fun filled evening!!
  • Dinner and Dancing included
  • Further details nearer the date

 Wednesday December 7th – Christmas Concert

  • Book your seats via the office as soon as possible

The Captains' Charity 2011

Our captains’ chosen charity for this year is the Warwickshire and Northamptonshire Air Ambulance, which is entirely funded by donations receiving nothing from the Government or Lottery. The UK’s fastest and busiest Air Ambulance in the country; hundreds of lives have been saved to date, with over 9,500 missions being flown since its inception in October 2003. The service operates 7 days a week and in total there is a total of 3 Pilots, 12 Doctors and 12 Paramedics in the team and support from contributions is critical to the continuation of the Air Ambulance.  The WNAA aims to raise over £1.7 million this year to keep the service operating. Throughout this year there are numerous charity events and collections scheduled, both in the golfing and social calendar and we hope that once again our members and friends will be as supportive as in the past and continue to show generosity and kindness to such a worthwhile charitable cause as the Warwickshire and Northamptonshire Air Ambulance. 

Please help the Charity by supporting our Captains: Ron Edmondson - Club Captain, Kully Wain- Ladies Captain, Peter Jamieson - Stags Captain and Charlie Dunn - Junior Captain and their Captains' Charity Events throughout the year!!!
