3 Ball Alliance - Thursday 24th November - Results
A total of 8 teams took part in the ladies 18 hole 3 Ball Alliance on what turned out to be a pleasant autumnal day with some very good scores being carded.
The winning team in was Kully Wain & Brenda Sparrow with a score of 74 points and 2nd place was awarded to Janet Fisher, Jill Lyndon and Christine Ritchie with a score of 66 points. With a special prize awarded to the team of Helen Law, Frances Farren and Margaret Hancox.
Isobel Jones scored the only 2 on the day. Nearest the pin on the 11th hole was won by Janet Fisher and Kully Wain's shot was nearest the pin on the 13th hole.

Competition Format: (Full Handicap) The first pair on each team is played Betterball Medal and the other pair played Betterball Stableford format. At the end of the round, the team captain deducted the stableford points score from the medal nett score for the final team score

Lady Capt v Vice Capt Challenge - 1st November
The ladies played in the Captain v Vice Captains Challenge competition on what turned out to be a sunny and fairly warm autumn day.
With a total of 32 ladies taking part there were some good scores carded. The best 10 scores were taken for each team giving the results 318 points for Kully's team and 298 points for Christine's team. Well done to the Lady Captain and her team!!
The individual winners for the Lady Captain's team were: 1st Place- Teresa Wright with 36 points: 2nd Place -Chris Wilkes with 35 points; 3rd place Christine Pollard with 34 points & 4th place to Sheila Tomalin with 32 points.
Lady Vice Captain's team: 1st place - Julie Jennings with 38 points; 2nd Place - Mary Jane Rypma with 33 points; 3rd Place - Pat Boneham with 30 points & Linda Johnson with 29 points.

Ladies Halloween comp 25th Oct
The Ladies Halloween competition was held on Tuesday 25th October, with 10 teams taking part in the 3 ball alliance competition which was followed by a warming bowl of home-made pumpkin soup
The winners with a score of 88 points was that of Kully Wain (Lady Captain) and Irene Fardon. Beaten by just one point into 2nd place was awarded to Margaret Whitehead, Vicky Jamieson and Chris Wilkes with a score of 87 points.
Ladies Final Medal Winner - Christine Ritchie
Congratulations to Christine Ritchie who won the Ladies Final Medal 2011 with a nett score of 74, beating Nicky Woodhouse into 2nd place with nett 75 and 3rd place awarded to Nicky Woodhouse with nett 76.
Ladies / Stags AmAm - Thursday 13th October - results
The Ladies and Stags Am Am held on Thursday 13th October was well supported, whereby a total of 14 teams took part giving a total of 28 ladies and 28 stags playing on the day.
The winning team was that of Sheila Tomalin, Anne Aveyard, Jim Britton and Tony Richards with a tremendous score of 87 points who took the trophy for 2011. Narrowly beaten into 2nd place with 86 points was the team of Janet Parham, Shirley Proctor, Ron Edmondson (Club Captain) and Steve Bale who on countback just pipped into 3rd place also with 86 points the team of Margaret Hancox, Sue Langford, Mick Lloyd and Charles McTear.
Thank you to everyone who took part in the competition and those who donated raffle prizes for the day. A total of £176.00 was raised towards the Captains' charity for 2011 - the Warwickshire and Northamptonshire Air Ambulance.
Linda & Janet take 2nd place at Whitefields
Two of our Stoneleigh ladies, Linda Price and Janet Fisher entered the Ladies Pairs Open at Whitefields on Thursday 6th October and carded a tremendous score of 37 points off 3/4 handicaps which put them into the prizes taking 2nd place. Well done and congratulations to Linda and Janet!!
Sue Langford takes 2nd place in Charles Heeley
Sue Langford represented Stoneleigh Deer Park Golf Club in the Finals of the Charles Heeley competition on Tuesday 20th September at the Worcester Golf & Country Club.
Sue was joint leader with a tremendous score of 38 points, but on countback she was beaten on the score of the 18th hole, putting Sue into 2nd place.

Nicky wins ladies division in Massey Ferguson comp

The ladies overall winner was Nicky Woodhouse with a tremendous score of 41 points (new handicap 13.1)

Ladies Championship Challenge - 27th September
Over 40 ladies took part in the ladies Championship Challlenge held on Tuesday 27th September in a lovely sunny and warm day. The Championship Challenge was run in conjunction with the Breast Cancer Brooch competition - medal format.
The trophy was presented by Sue Langford to the overall winner Neeta Shah who carded a magnificent gross score of 82 giving nett score of 60, well done Neeta and new handciap to follow!!!

Congratulations to Christine Ritchie for winning the Ladies Final Medal on Sunday 2nd October. Christine playing off handicap 31 just took 1st place by 1 shot with nett 74, narrowly beating Kully Wain (Lady Captain) into 2nd place with 3rd place going to Nicky Woodhouse.

Anniversary Waltz -30th August - Results
Lady Vice Captain's Challenge - Anniversary Waltz
The Lady Vice Captain's Challenge was held on Tuesday 30th August, to celebrate the 20th Anniversary of the Golf Club and proceeds of the day went towards the Captains Cahrity - The Warwickshire & Northamptonshire Air Ambulance. A total of £74.00 was raised for the Captains' Charity fund.
The turnout was good with a total of 36 ladies taking part in the Anniversary Waltz, in teams of three players with a 'Waltz' format whereby All scores counted on Par 4's, Best 2 scores on Par 5's and 1 best score on Par 3's. A format which everyone enjoyed and the scores reflected this too!!

Ladies Four Nations - Wales Win again!!!
The Ladies Four Nations competition was held on Tuesday 17th August with a total of 41 ladies taking part, despite the showers a good day was had by all with some very good scores being carded too!!
A big thank you to the ladies who donated the goodies for the drinks & snacks buggy, and to Robin Whitehouse and Jim Britton for manning the buggy, thus providing the ladies with nourishment throughtout the day.
Prizes were awarded to Individual Nations in 1st and 2nd place and best Overall Team
1st place - England: Pat of Boneham with 35 points, Ireland: Janet O'Groves with 39 points, Scotland: Brenda McSparrow with 35 points and Wales: Kully Taff Wain with 40 points

The Gross Trophy was once again won by Kully Wain (Lady Captain) making it 3 successive wins in a row, and carded a combined score of 160 gross to take the title once again..
The Nett Trophy was won this year by Sally Sparrow with a score of 137 Nett over the 2 days.

Ladies v Feldon Valley - 3rd August
The ladies team from Stoneleigh Deer Park Golf Club played their friendly match away to Feldon Valley on Wednesday 3rd August and came home with a 2 / 2 draw.
The team captained by Kully Wain (Lady Captain) were Brenda Parry, Margateret Hancox, Pat Boneham, Margaret Whitehead and Sheila Rennolds.

Playing in glorious sunshine with a little breeze to keep the temperatures down the ladies from Stoneleigh Deer Park Golf Club played their friendly match agianst Ingon Maonr GC ladies at home on Wednesday 13th July.
Kully Wain, lady captain stated it was a very good result considering four of the Stoneleigh ladies are high handicappers and was their first experience of playing for the team. She also thanked the club for providing a really good meal. Everyone enjoyed it.

Ladies Pairs Betterball - Tuesday 5th July - Results
Fourteen pairs took part in the Ladies betterball pairs competition on Tuesday 5th July and although there were several showers throughout the day it didn't deter the ladies.
Congratulations to the winning pair of Janet Parham & Sheila Tomalin who carded a tremendous score of 50 points to take 1st prize. Closely followed by the runners-up pairing of Linda Price & Linda Johnson with a score of 48 points for 2nd place. Also with 48 points were Helen Law & Kully Wain (Lady Captain) who took 3rd place, beaten on count-back..

Lady Captain wins Rugby Ladies Invitational
Rugy Golf Club hosted their Ladies Invitational on Wednesday June 8th , our Lady Captain Kully Wain was invited by Debbie Harrod to join her as her guest. The formidable pairing played in the betterball stableford Ladies Invitational and walked away triumphant with the 1st prize after carding a tremendous score of 42 points.
