Congratulations to the Winners Ray Stringer and John Usher (Stoneleigh GC) who carded an early score of 46 stableford points setting the target for the day, both winning Motocaddy Hybrid Golf Bags.

In 2nd place were Roy Massey (Stratford Oaks GC) & Keith James (Stoneleigh GC) with 45 points (B1 /4) won FJ Casuals golf shoes.  3rd place also with 45 points and count back to Back 1/ 3 was Mick Jephcott and Tony Brittain (Stoneleigh GC) were awarded  FJ Wool top sweaters.  4th place was the pairing of Paul Abbot and Roy Pickering with 45 points and received FJ Aqualite golf shoes.  The pairing in 5th place were Roy Sturmey and Dave Crossley (Stoneleigh GC) won an MD Putter each.  The prizes for 6th place were Titleist NXT Tour s Golf balls and these were won by D Mackin and R Moyes from Halesowen GC.  Don Edmondson (Taunton GC) and Dave Miller from Nuneaton GC took 7th prize winning a Ping shoe bag each.

Nearest the Pin winners:  9th hole was Keith James (Stoneleigh GC), 11th hole was T Griffiths (Kenilworth GC), 13th hole was Tim Bray (Kenilworth GC) and 15th hole was Dennis Brown (Olton GC).  Malc Porter from Hinckley GC won the longest drive on 10th hole.

A raffle was held on the day with a total of £478.00 raised for Cancer Research UK,  the Captains’ Charity.  Thank you to Margaret Whitehead for selling the raffle tickets and to the starters, Brenda Parry, Margaret Hancox and Simon Callender for ensuring that the players ‘teed off’ the first on time. A special thank you to John Reay for Registration from 7.30am - 3pm.

The presentaion of the prizes was carried out by Charles McTear, Stags Captain assisted by Ray Stringer.
