Lady Captain , Ann Jones introduced a new  PAR 3 competition for the ladies section, the first of which was played on 20th April.  Seventeen ladies competed in this  event, over 9 holes, came in for light refreshments and a discussion on next game. This will be over 18 holes on the Par3, format medal, date scheduled for Monday 10th May.

The Par 3 Texas Scramble played on the Avon Course on the evening of Friday 2nd Cotober followed by a Supper was another great success.  Draw for the 8 teams took place just before the Klaxon was sounded and play commenced.  Once again the weather was pleasant and everyone had fun!!!  The 3 course supper was enjoyed by all followed by the presntation to the winners.

The winners were Gordon Bordley, Fran Beaufoy and John Brady.  The prizes were presented by Ann Wykes (Lady Captain).

The next Par 3 Competition & Supper to be scheduled, it is suggested that we have a Night Golf fun evening. Please keep an eye on the notice boards for the date and time.  Come along and join us!!!

The Par 3 Texas Scramble played on the Avon Course on the evening of Friday 11th September followed by a Supper was a great success.  The draw took place for the teams, the weather was perfect for a summer's evening of golf and a good time was had by all.

The winners were Chris Britton, Gordon Bordley and Peter Jamieson.
