Congratulations to the Irish team on winning the Dermot Hurley Trophy for the fourth successive year. Bob Duxbury was non playing Captain as he is only three weeks into his recuperation from replacement hip surgery( but he was seen on the putting green) Bob's usual effervescent leadership plus caps and goodies encouraged the Irish team to overcome his playing loss and score a resounding win with 232 points. Second were the England team with 225, followed by Wales with 222 and Scotland with 218. Congratulations also to the top players from each team, Peter Manger for Scotland, John Williams for Wales, Roger Hamilton for England and Ron Maudlin for Ireland.
After an enjoyable lunch Stags Captain Mick Lloyd presented the winning vouchers and the trophy.
