Daily Mail Foursomes

The Daily Mail Foursomes is a tournament that is now regarded as the greatest amateur golfing event in the world with more than 190,000 players competing in their club qualifying rounds.

Entry is open to members of golf clubs in England, Scotland and Wales, with each club invited to enter one men's pair and one women's pair in the championships.

This year Stoneleigh Ladies put forward Shirley Proctor & Ann Whitehouse to play in the 1^st round, at Stoneleigh Deer Park Golf Club on Friday 22^nd February. It was a very close game the whole way around, but we’re delighted to announce Shirley & Ann won their match 2 and 1 aginst Whitefields.
