The Stags Captain versus Vice Captain annual trophy event took place on Monday 1 April. Unfortunately only 39 Stags took part in this enjoyable event which was won by the Vice Captain's team which took advantage of his absence from the match by ensuring they trashed the meagre efforts of the Captain's team.
£420 was raised for the Captain's Charity with all proceeds from the match and raffle going to the Charity.
Well done to all who participated. Nigel Palmer won the giant egg, Nev Burton the bottle of wine and Wilf Feely, Peter Jamieson and Joe Parham won four ball vouchers in the raffle ( spot the non Stag making up the numbers)
Roy Pickering won a novel nearest the pin prize which was only open to half of the contestants as it was on a foursomes hole.
