Thanks to huge generosity of many Stags we were able to raise £785 for the Captain's Charity on Monday 20th May when 50 Stags played for the Bill Jones Trophy. There were 18 Nearest the pin and 8 longest drive prizes along with prizes for the top three. Neville Burton won the trophy with a great 44 points closely followed by Mick Brown , who also won a boxful of prizes in the nearest the pins and Phil Hughes on countback from Mike Gilbey.  Many ludicrous shirts were worn but the factual one failed to gain universal support. See if you can spot it! Captain Paul Steward won the main raffle prize, quite fitting I think.  Good weather , enjoyable golf and great after golf.
