WINTER RULES APPLY

From 1st October 2025 through till Monday 31st March 2026 ball can be lifted, cleaned and placed within 6" on fairways and first cut around greens only, no nearer the hole.
See notice board for local rules and definite dates for winter rules"

FORMAT

1. PAIRS MATCHPLAY
   2. Handicaps
   a) whs yellow course handicap
   b) 90% of above
   c) strokes given off lowest handicapped player
   3. All matches off yellow tees

RECORDING OF RESULTS

All results must be entered on the sheets on the Stags Notice Board.

Win - 2 pts, Halve - 1 pt Lose - 0 pts, also, record score e.g. 2 & 1, 3 & 2 etc.

The for and against result is important to determine the league positions.

FORFEITS

Games must be played on the allocated date or before by arrangement with your opposition, otherwise game is to be forfeited.
Result 3 & 2 If the opposition team fail to show up, game forfeited, Result 3 & 2

RESERVES

Reserves may be used from the reserve sheet, or any Stag member not registered as a player in any league or any player having a bye in a different league.

GAME AFFECTED BY ADVERSE WEATHER

If the course is open on a league date the matches should be played over the course as defined by the club for play on that day.
In the event of the course being closed on any of the league dates, the Competition Secretary will try to re-schedule all matches
In the event that this is not possible, each team will be awarded 1 point.

DISPUTES
The committee's decision is final.
