Local Rules
OUT OF BOUNDS
The perimeter fence of Deerkeepers Wood, adjacent to the 4th and 5th holes.
WRONG GREEN
A ball played onto a wrong green must be lifted and dropped off that green, not nearer the hole in play.
STAKED TREES
A free drop must be taken from all staked trees and shrubs within two club lengths, not nearer the hole.
G.U.R. (Ground Under Repair)
A ball coming to rest in any area marked as G.U.R. MUST be lifted and dropped at the nearest point of relief, not nearer the hole.
OVERHEAD WIRES
A ball striking overhead wires or poles must be replayed without penalty.
SPRINKLER HEADS, MANHOLE COVERS and
TEE MARKER LOGS
Are defined as immovable obstructions and relief may be taken within two club lengths, not nearer the hole.
TYRE MARKS
Motor vehicles tyre marks may be treated as G.U.R.
PLUGGED BALL
A ball embedded in its own pitch mark may be lifted, cleaned and dropped without penalty as near as possible to the spot where it lay, not nearer the hole.
