Individual Winter League Stableford  - 17/18^th October

After count back  the winner for Week 1 of the Individual Winter League Stableford competition was Matthew Corcoran and in 2^nd place was Ross Stanton, both  with scores of 46 points.  In 3^rd place in the League table was Lee Callender with 44 points and in 4^th place was Clive Neale with 41 points.

 Division 1 winner was Matt Corcoran with 46 points.  In 2^nd place was Mark Woolerton with 40 points.  3^rd place was decided on count back, between Carl Stanford , Alistair Cochrane, Joe Parham and Richard Parham, all with 39 points.  Carl Stanford took prize for 3^rd place.

Division 2 was won by Ross Stanton with 46 points.  Lee Callender took 2^nd place with 44 points and in 3^rd place was Clive Neale with 41 points.

Congratulations to the winning pair of Steve Large and Ross Stanton with their score of 45 points (BN25) and to the Runners-up of Norman Joyce and Stu Bryan also with 45 points (BN22 BS 17) just beating Paul Darcy and Karl Adams on count back (BN22 BS1

Stoneleigh's 2 Ball Texas Scramble was played over the weekend of 26th & 27th September with a total of 23 pairs taking part.

Congratulations to the Winning pair of Dave Dougill & Neville Gardner with their tremendous score of 62.8.  Runners-up with a score of 66.8 was the pairing of Brodie Aziz & Carl Stanford.  After countback, 3rd place was awarded to Clive Neale  & Ian Crisp and the pair taking 4th prize was Graham Murdoch (Club Captain) & Johnny Rea, both scored 67.8.

With a total of 41 pairs taking part in the Annual Highland Shield competition last weekend, there were some very close scores carded.

Congratulations to the winning pair of Kevin Ariss and Mark Woolerton with their tremendous score of 44 points. 

After count back on 42 points,  the Runners-up were Steve Woolerton and Kevin Ariss (BN 22), in 3rd place was Matthew Corcoran and Gavin Bottrell (BN 21).

Countback was required to determine 4th, 5th & 6th places on 41 points. Mike Bainton and Terry Brown took 4th place with back nine score of 22, back six score of 16.  5th place was decided on the back1 hole of 3 points to the pairing of Guy Sulliavn and Dave Dougill.  Brothers Alan and Chris Price were just out of the prizes in 6th place with back 1 hole score of 2 points.

With a total of 17 team taking part over the weekend in the Captain's Charity Rumble, first prize was awarded to the winning team of Kevin Ariss, Steve Woolerton, Carl Stanford and Martin Brock with their score of 103 points.

There were two teams with 100 points, which required count back to determine their placing.  Runners-up were the team of Ray Stringer, George Lynch, Tony Griffin & John Usher. In 3rd place was th team of Steve Pearson, Carl Stanford, Jenny Holt & Ron Edmondson.

A total of £144   was raised for the 2015 Captains Charity: 'Macmillans Cancer Support'.
